Welcome To Harlem High School Ideal city stage 1

Hello!

This project is the Ideal City project in its first stage where the students complete 6 activites, and then design and create a 2 dimensional poster that invisions their idea of what an ideal city might look like.

The students work in groups of two and are given a common planning table of what each city should have. These tables are created in class and then each group is told to focus on a specific aspect of ideal cities.

Many of my students tend to focus on recreational activities and consumer services.

These examples are from this past week 3-22-06.

We will move into phase two and design a better intersection from our partners in Romania. These will be 3-D models that show the ideal design. These will be posted as soon as possible.
